Pick up your new Volvo in Sweden
The Volvo Cars Brand Experience
The trip of a lifetime
Buying a new Volvo? Then why not consider a trip to Sweden to pick up your new car? Our Factory Delivery Centre will ensure that you have a memorable experience with your new car in Sweden. Every year more than 1000 people come to Gothenburg to pick up their car. While here, we can help to arrange a number of activities that will help you to get a better feel for the Volvo Cars brand.
Experience Volvo Cars like never before
Collecting your new Volvo
We will collect you from the airport or hotel in Gothenburg and drive you to the Volvo Factory Delivery Centre in Torslanda, just outside the city. Here, we will give a run-through of your new car and take care of any documentation. You will then get the chance to test drive your new car on our track before we treat you to a traditional Swedish lunch.
Volvo factory tour
After lunch, it’s time to climb aboard the ‘Blue Train’ and take a guided tour around the Volvo Cars factory. The tour takes approximately one hour and gives you the chance to see exactly how your new Volvo car was built.
A visit to the Volvo museum
As our guest, you will also get the opportunity to visit the Volvo Museum and take a journey through Volvo’s history - from the company’s humble beginnings in 1927 - to the modern day. Along the way you’ll see iconic models, groundbreaking designs and innovations and concept cars that were ahead of their time.

Our window to the world
Throughout history, the human eye has meant different things to different cultures. In ancient Egypt it was worshipped as a powerful symbol of good health and protection, during the Renaissance it represented vision and clarity, whereas the eye that graces today’s American dollar bill is designed to depict guidance and reassurance. But what about for those of us who worship at the altar of the automobile? What do our eyes mean to our enjoyment of our cars and can they really hold the key to a better life on the road?
